For teachers

A quiet, calm tool
for big classroom feelings.

Positive Penguins fits naturally into wellbeing time, transitions, and quiet corners. No setup, no logins — just press play and let the penguins do the rest.

When to use it

Three classroom moments that work brilliantly.

Morning circle

Start the day with a check-in

Use the "How are you feeling?" screen as a daily emotional roll-call. Twelve feelings, twelve penguins — students point to theirs.

After lunch

Reset with a 5-min meditation

The guided meditation works as a calm transition from playground energy back to focused learning.

When something's hard

Walk through a feeling 1:1

If a child is struggling, sit with them and walk through "Examples" together to challenge an unhelpful thought.

Sample lesson

A 25-minute wellbeing lesson

One way to weave Positive Penguins into a wellbeing or pastoral lesson. Adjust to your class age and time.

  • Open with check-in (3 min) Project the "How are you feeling?" screen. Each child names a feeling silently.
  • Watch an example (7 min) Walk through one penguin's situation as a class. Discuss the thought and the kinder thought.
  • Independent journey (10 min) Children use their own iPads to try the journey for a feeling they've had this week.
  • Close with meditation (5 min) Whole class follows the 5-minute guided meditation together.
