The story behind the app

Built by an 11-year-old. Backed by the brain she's now studying.

Sara Price built Positive Penguins when she was 11, and won the national Australian Tech Girls Are Superheroes search by 2014.

She's now a neuroscience PhD researcher studying how the developing brain wires the thoughts, feelings, and behaviours we carry into adulthood — work that keeps Positive Penguins grounded in how young minds actually work.
